Dr Khoury & Staff-
Big hugs & deep appreciation to each of you. It’s been 3 weeks since my cosmetic surgery and my face looks
!FABULOUS!
Folks say (and I agree) that I look 10-15 years younger. Many comments on how natural my face looks. No weird stretching or unnatural distortions.
Thank you SO much.

Dear Dr. Khoury
On the other side of 47 days post-op, I am asking myself, “Would I do this again?”
I had to wait a few months to see you, and now I know why! You are “special!”
Your patient care is flawless.
Your abundance of information all inclusive and comforting.
Your staff is exceptional, sweet and caring.
The communication between you, your staff and I, seamless.
Your practice runs so smoothly.
My answer to myself is “ABSOLUTELY!”
I am “blown away” by what an amazing experience this has been for me and my family. I have had so many compliments on how good I look… with no recognition of what has been done.
I look at myself and can hardly believe the transformation. I LOVE how I look!
What more can be said other than, “Thank you, Lord God, for the talent, intellect, gift of skill, kindness and generosity you have given Dr. Khoury.
May God bless you for the joy you bring to so many lives.
Gratefully,
“Patient”

Dear Dr. Khoury,
Transformation
I looked in the mirror and who did I see?
An older woman, sort of like me.
Her eyes didn’t sparkle, her hair didn’t shine She had a new wrinkle and a sagging jaw line.
She reached for the pill box to brighten her day,
As no kind of make-up could help in that way.
She pondered the future and what it might hold, And hoped it was more than just growing old.
She added some jewels, a necklace, a ring
To lift up her spirits and make her heart sing.
Then ready was she to go out for the day To keep the appointment waiting at bay.
She saw a good doctor who looked at her face And said with a smile, “I’ll take her case.” So happy was she, to go under the knife And emerge as a woman with a new lifc.
She isn’t exactly younger in years, But now as she looks, she’s shedding no tears For in that reflection that now she does see A pretty new lady who looks just like me!
Thank you very much,
“Patient”

Dear Dr. Khoury,
I was in a restaurant with my 33-year-old daughter today and she kept staring at me. She said, “Mom, I can’t believe how you look. I feel like a teenager sitting here because you look just like you did when I was a kid.”
I had a dinner party yesterday and one guest, who hadn’t seen me since the week before my surgery, told me I looked ten years younger than the last time he saw me.
An old friend told me he can’t understand how I keep looking younger every time he sees me.
I spent the last ten years caring for my husband who suffered cancers as well as my elderly mother. From (when my husband passed away), I was able to get one or two hours sleep each 24-hour period. I felt like I was 80 and I looked like I had been through a war. I had no motivation to exercise because my face looked so old and haggard; what was the use in trying?
You changed all of that for me. Despite my grief, I am able to look at myself in the mirror. It is like seeing me for the first time in ten years. I’m not wondering who that old woman is staring back at me in the mirror. I not only look younger, but I look healthy again.
I also want to thank you for the kindness and understanding you showed me before and during surgery. You helped alleviate my fears from bad experiences and sensitivity to medications.
Thank you for changing my life.
Sincerely,
“Patient”

Dear Dr. Khoury,
The good news is, two years ago I lost over fifty pounds and have managed to keep it off. The bad news is, the weight loss left me with lots of excess skin hanging from my neck. The fact that I turned 71 this year didn’t help either! My chin line had also disappeared, there were deep creases from my nose to mouth, and my cheeks had a network of fine wrinkles.
In her new best-selling book, I Feel Bad About My Neck, author Norah Ephron writes, “According to my dermatologist, the neck starts to go at forty-three, and that’s that. The neck is a dead giveaway.”
You gave me back my forty-three year old neck! I have a jaw line again and the deep lines are greatly reduced. I feel great, and now I feel that I look great, too, and my friends say I do –worth a few days of discomfort. And I was able to prepare for and have an open house for nearly 100 people in my home twelve days after the surgery.
Recently, I was at a meeting with about 20 other women near my age. As I looked around, I realized that I was the only one not wearing a scarf or turtleneck. I’ve sent all my turtleneck sweaters to the Salvation Army!

Dr. Khoury, M.D.
Today is my birthday! How can one say “Thank-you” for giving them a “small increment” of their youth back?
You are such a warm, kind, gentle man who was guided into the right profession that will always be rewarded & will satisfy your skills & gifts for really making a difference in one’s life.
After my medical retirement happened I went into quite a “slump”. I am a nurse who put everything into her ER career. Financially, emotionally & educationally. I was working on my MSN. when it happened.
I now feel so much more revived & my self esteem has helped me realize how the plans of one’s life seem to fall into place if one lets them. I’m now teaching & taking care of my 2yr & 3yr old grandbabies who are autistic but I have my purpose back.
Thank-you you’ve touched my life greatly. I wish joy & happiness & health for you and your family.

Dear Dr. Khoury,
Perhaps hearing where the money I saved, because of your honesty, will very minutely compensate for your loss of income.
I have three children none of whom is hurting financially, so they each received $1000 to be used for something frivolous or, at least, not on necessities. Each of my four granddaughters – $300 (no stipulations) they would do whatever they wanted anyway. Nine great-grandchildren received small gifts since most are too young to care about money.
AND FOR MYSELF: a pint of Haagen-Dazs ice cream albeit “lite” (force of habit) and a small box of Belgium chocolates since I no longer need to work on a new shape to go with my soon-to-be new face. Oh, and I also insisted on paying the dinner tab that evening. So all and all, there were nineteen people you made a little happier – that includes my dinner companion, the waitress who received a nice tip and myself. Now I could have picked a nice charity, but this was more fun. But maybe I’ll increase my donation to Doctors Without Borders.
Sincerely,
“Patient”
